I'm creating this space to talk about FINE ART. I'm a professional artist, muralist and Professor at a local College. I teach art. I will invite some people I think may have great input, who want to engage seriously with questions, people who take art seriously and really help dig into the depths of what art is today. What irks them (me), the difference between the hobby artist and the fine artist. What a teacher means when they say....what to say or do when someone doesn't like your art. Tell us stories and how you handled a situation or ask what you should do. If you're reading this either I or someone I invited asked you to join in.
So - let's talk about art. Your art, other peoples art, the newest and greatest things in art and the bad things too. I'm not looking for praise, or even agreement. I'm clarifying what I mean when I say certain things, and/or asking for input - what would you do or say and what do you think? Do you agree or disagree? All input is welcome just be KIND - share and let's get down to what it is that jurors want. How about the Galleries, the people who buy art. All cultures and countries history are rooted in the arts.
So here's the link - if you'd like someone to join in please share and ask them to introduce themselves and maybe share a link to their website or a picture of the type of art they do.

What's important to you - when you look at art, when you make art, when you show your art. Have a question? I'm sure someone will give input or maybe a few people have different answers.
WELCOME
